Pervez Rahman
Pervez Rahman is the principal solicitor of SMP Legal. He is also a Registered Migration agent.
Pervez has over five years of experience working in legal practices including at large national law firms where he acted for a range of large banking and financial services organisations and corporate clients. He provided legal advice across issues relating to business and consumer lending, mortgages, security reviews, fraud and forgeries, breach of contract and general litigation and dispute resolution matters. He has also acted for insolvency practitioners, individuals facing bankruptcy action as well as businesses facing insolvency. He has extensive experience dealing with businesses and individuals facing financial hardship or are facing recovery action from credit providers.
Pervez also has over seven years of experience in the Banking and Finance sector working for one of Australia’s largest banks. He worked in the areas of Dispute Resolution, Risk Management, Compliance, Credit Management, Turnaround Management, Project Management and Relationship Management.
As a registered migration agent with the office of the MARA, he is able to assist clients who are looking to migrate to or visit Australia as well as those who are looking to settle in Australia permanently.
Pervez has strong ties with the local Bangladeshi community and is fluent in Bengali.
Pervez spends most of his spare time either playing or watching sports. Whilst he has given most sports a go at some stage, he is currently hooked on Golf and Badminton. He is also a keen follower of Cricket and Soccer as well as Aussie Rule.
When he is not playing Golf or Badminton, he also spends time with his wife and young daughter Sahara.
Rumana Jahan
Rumana Jahan is an Australian Legal Practitioner and Registered Migration Agent. Rumana has completed her Bachelor of Laws from Latrobe University, Australia. Right after completion of her law degree, she has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from LEO Cussen. She has also completed Masters of Information Management System from Monash University, Australia. Prior to migrating to Australia, Rumana completed her LL.B (Hons) and LL.M from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Rumana has good experience working at national law firms and migration services. Rumana has comprehensive knowledge in all areas of Australian Immigration Laws. She has successfully assisted a broad range of clients including families, students, skilled migrants, ENS migrants, RSMS migrants and business migrants. She is well experienced in dealing of MRT/AAT appeals, Ministerial Intervention, family visas, student visas, skilled migrations, employer sponsored visas and all aspects of permanent residency options.
Rumana has joined SMP legal in 2015. Her area of work includes family law, Immigration Law, Commercial and property law.
Rumana is currently volunteering as a Solicitor and Migration Agent in Refugee & Immigration Legal Centre. She has also worked as a volunteer in Public Interest Law Clearing House (VIC) and Western Suburbs Legal Services.

Nurul Khan
Nurul Khan is an Australian Legal practitioner and Qualified Education Agent Counsellor. Nurul has completed his Bachelor of Laws from Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia. He has also completed his Bachelor of Business (Major in Law & Accounting) from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Prior to migrating to Australia, Nurul completed his LL.B (Hons) and LL.M from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Nurul has extensive experience in the legal industry as he was Judicial Officer in the Judiciary Department of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh where he also worked as a Judge in a District court of Bangladesh.
Nurul has significant experience in the Finance industry through his employment at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia where he worked for three years in various teams of Mortgage Services Department of Commonwealth Bank.
He has also been looking after Bangladesh offices of SR Migration & Education Services for immigration matters, student’s visas and student recruitment since 2013. He has extensive knowledge in immigration laws and also has a good understanding in company laws.
Nurul aims to focus on property laws, company laws, immigration laws and supporting victims of crime and other civil matters.
Both Nurul and Rumana are heavily involved with the Bangladeshi community in Melbourne, particularly the western suburbs. Nurul is involved with the operation of the Victorian Bangladeshi Community Foundation (VBCF) that runs Western Region Bengali School, Victorian Bangladeshi Sports Club and Victorian Bangla Mobile Library. They both are also heavily involved with the various community functions and activities such as sports days, festivals, etc.

Lynette Fuller
Lynette Fuller joined SMP Legal team in August 2014. Her career in conveyancing spans over approximately 20 years, starting as a casual in a small conveyancing firm in the South East of Melbourne and has remained in this region for most of her career. This has allowed her to become familiar with other professionals in this region as well as build lasting relationships with real estate agents and brokers in this area of Melbourne.
Lynette has completed the Diploma of Financial Services specializing in conveyancing, the qualification required to be a licenced conveyancer.
Lynette has previous experience in the Banking and Finance sector working for one of Australia’s largest banks. In that time, she worked in customer services as a personal banker and as a Loans Officer managing, retaining and growing a portfolio of clients and providing quality customer service.
Lynette’s aim is to provide a conveyancing service that ensures the client has a stress free experience, with continual communication with all parties of the transaction. Delivering high customer service is a priority to Lynette, ensuring the client receives clear communication and understanding of the conveyancing process. Lynette is based in the Dandenong office.
Outside of work, Lynette enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking/running, live music and theatre, and reading fictional novels.

Natasha
Natasha is an experienced conveyancer and has been in the industry for the best part of a decade. She commenced in conveyancing at one of the largest conveyancing businesses in Victoria and learned from some of the best conveyancers in the business before embarking on commencing her own conveyancing practise. Natasha is the founding owner of Westgate Conveyancing which was established approximately 5 years ago. She built Westgate conveyancing into a successful practice by providing first class customer service and assisting clients through to settlement in an extremely professional manner. The personal approach provided by Natasha from beginning to end ensured her clients were left satisfied.
Natasha’s primary goal in business is 100% satisfaction for not just the client but for all involved in the process including the real estate agents, finance professionals, etc.
Natasha is currently on maternity leave as an expecting mother of her first child.
